HEADZONE - We are a first of its kind in South Africa, supplies new and reconditioned cylinder heads for most light and medium duty vehicles, both to the trade and private sector. New cylinder heads are sourced from all over the world. Our own quality control tests are carried out before the heads are supplied to our customers. All new cylinder heads supplied by HeadZone are "bare" to enable us to keep costs as low as possible. All our outlets however, have the facilities to carry out a "build-over" of existing parts onto new cylinder heads. New cylinder heads are offered in two grades: Grade A & B, of which grade A would be a very good quality and grade B a slightly lesser quality. All our grade A cylinder heads are equipped with the correct valve seats to accommodate unleaded fuel. Reconditioned cylinder heads offered by HeadZone are sourced throughout SA. Extensive tests, such as hot method pressure testing and hardness testing on these cylinder heads, are then carried out to ensure good quality. Cylinder heads are then stripped to the bare metal, after which a complete rebuild is carried out. Only the latest technology machinery are being used in this process.
